I hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent most of Saturday studying and reviewing personal training stuff. Did I know that I would be studying the nervous system when I signed up to get certified to be a personal trainer? No, but that's okay. Somewhere along the way: that will help me. Did I think the book would be this hard? No, but that's life. I knew it wouldn't be easy and I am going to be stronger, better and more equipped WHEN I pass this test (not IF I pass, but WHEN I pass). :)

What do you do to regularly feel good about your body?
I work out and try to eat healthy 80% of the time. I'm one of those 80/20 people. I eat/workout healthfully 80% of the time and splurge 20% of the time--usually on the weekends. If I don't work out, I feel sluggish, it affects my mood and I'm a grouch. It's more so I do it for myself emotionally even before physically.
Have you ever taken part of a fad diet or workout?
No--not the fad diet part. Not a big fan of those. As far as fad workout--most of the workouts I like have been around for quite some time now.
Do you use fitness apps?
No, but I SHOULD! Any recommendations?
What's your go-to race day meal?
I don't race so I will reword this question to "what's your go-to preworkout meal?" Mine is probably an apple or nuts. Both of which do not weigh me down and both of which provide the energy I need to power through.
Do you listen to music to get pumped before a workout?
It's more so that I listen to music DURING my workout to pump me up. I LOVE great dance music and that's what gets me going during a workout!
Any good luck charms?
Nope. I'm boring like that...well, actually, my main source of "luck" is my relationship with God. And I don't call it "luck" -- I call it being blessed. I think of myself as blessed instead of lucky--because I am blessed for a reason: Christ.
When do you feel your sexiest?
After a workout and after I have showered. :)
